Macedonian Sambo Athletes Chose the Best at the National Championship
The second National Sambo Championship in history took place in Macedonia. More than 50 sambo athletes representing 6 sport clubs took part in the competition. The tournament location was Boris Trajkovski Sports Center that is located in the capital of the country — the city of Skopje.
“This championship became the last test competition before the European Sambo Championship and the European Games in Baku. In future it is also planned to hold an International Sambo Tournament in Macedonia. I would like to express gratitude to FIAS and the European Sambo Federation for their kind support, without which this tournament would not have been held at such a high level,” said the President of the Macedonian Sambo Federation Erdal Fakic.
The winners of the National Championship are: Amar Murat (52 kg), Armin Idrizi (57 kg), Erdoan Memeti (62 kg), Ertan Redksepi (68 kg), Behar Mahmuti (74 kg), Vladimir Taleski (82 kg), Zaikov Vlatko (90 kg), Arif Seidi (100 kg), Alexander Stoyanov (+100 kg).
