SAMBO Federations of Russia and Indonesia held Online Seminars for Referees

The situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in the world left not only athletes without competition, but also referees working on tournaments. Under the current circumstances, sambists keep their shape thanks to training, and the referees switch to distance education. In this they are assisted by the National SAMBO Federations, which conduct online seminars for judges.

The All-Russian SAMBO Federation (RSF) held its first referee seminar in the format of an online conference on July 22-23. According to the RSF press service, more than 250 judges from different regions of the country took part in the event. As part of the seminar, a conference was held on Combat and Beach SAMBO, changes and additions to the rules in the Sports SAMBO section, as well as a theoretical test for judges. According to Roman Bolotsky, chairman of the RSF panel of referees, similar seminars will be held in the future.

The seminar was organized with the direct participation of the President of the National SAMBO Federation Krishna Bayu and the Secretary General of the organization Sukma Every Lisa. The mentors at the event were referees from Indonesia, who have extensive experience in major international competitions: Martin Tandionugroho, Stella Maria Rosario Sjahlim and Arnold Silalahi.
